Best Approach to Learn Spanish

Best Spanish learning software and how I found one for my daughter. I think I have discovered the answer and will share it with the world. In my days I have tried many different Spanish language learning software applications. I am kind of addicted to learning software in general. I love these types of games and I think that the mainstream media started recognizing the benefits of such “games” and is now paying more attention to them, you probably remember how popular “paint by numbers” was at one point. It is during my early adolescence that I have discovered it’s benefits.

It was during a computer class in high school that I realized how effective learning games are (first of its kind in my state). Because these classes were probably the first in our state the tutor resorted to some ingenuity. We did not know what to make of these strange looking “TV sets” with boxes, we were still determining if they are “fun” or not. Fortunately he made it fun. During the first class we were taught how to type. To do that the teacher used a computer game that had a strange hairy creature and a long bridge that looked like an alphabet. As the creature ventured forward you would assemble the path ahead by pressing on the correct keyboard keys (letters and numbers). It was kind of a tragic game, because you had to build it quickly or the creature would die by falling off the bridge. So in order to save its life you had to type the letters as quickly as possible. Of course the point of the game was to learn how to type faster and it worked wonders. Several weeks later my keyboard skills got so good that the creature never died.

I think if the game wasn’t fun I would have never learned how to type quickly or the process would be pure drudgery. I personally think that the best kind of learning games is the one that makes you forget that you’re studying. High school days are long behind now, but I still remember the concept. I had to apply it when I got a call from my daughter’s teacher who said that she was lagging behind in her Spanish class. I did not condemn her or yell, I knew it was not her fault. I went to ask uncle Google about the best Spanish learning game and according to him and USA today there was one interesting little game which was being praised a lot. Surprisingly the game also featured an animated creature which seamlessly taught you Spanish words . My daughter loved the game so much that at times it was hard to get her to eat. Needless to say that her Spanish skills improved drastically. She boiled with so much enthusiasm over the game that I tried it myself and I’m glad that I did. I learned 500 new Spanish words in under 3 weeks. When you’re out shopping for the best Spanish learning game it must always put the emphasis on “Game” first and “learning” last. Believe me, I have seen the results.
