People are always in constant communication today unlike in the past decades, communication is only for a few people. But now everyone has his own cell phone, his own laptop, his own computer and in his computer or laptop, there is sure to be a VOIP (voice over internet protocol) install somewhere on the hard disk. With VOIP, they can get to call anyone they want through the Web without paying much for long distance calls. Do you remember what is like long ago to speak to an operator while you are trying to make some important mobile phone calls overseas and do you remember who much it cost just for a 50-seconds or an hour call? In the past, air time is very rare and friendly to your finances but today, because of technology, air time is also getting expensive. That’s why, there are VOIPs and one of them is in the form of Magic Jack.

Magic Jack is a kindof VOIP or Voice Over Internet Protocol that depends on your computer’s internet connection so you can place calls locally or abroad. All you ever have is just a USB Cable and that’s basically it and upon receiving the cable or device, you can right away start making calls. Upon installing the device to you computer via USB, the software is mechanically downloaded from the Net while you’re in the process of registering. Right now, a lot of people are using MagicJack rather than other VOIPs and they have good reasons why.

First of all, according to some Magic Jack reviews site, setting up MagicJack is very easy. And the best part is, they have a 24/7 tech who is on standby, willing to give you some additional information and help in setting up your Magic Jack. Magic Jack is also very affordable compared to cell phones. Yeah, sure, you might have different network services like Yahoo! Messenger or Skype where you can also communicate with other people but if you want a less expensive way of calling anyone over the phone, then, Magic Jack is your best option.

A couple of tools I use that are on the internet for anybody to use

You might think I’m a loser and you can think that if you want, but I’ve always been intrigued by detective tools.  As a child I was a huge detective movie fan and was frequently buying different spy gadgets.  Ok, Ok – I’m a nerd!

Ok, so today I don’t read Sherlock Holmes anymore, but I am still fascinated by a few of the tools that are out there.  Now I don’t order gadgets from any catalogues, I now go online to check out detective tricks.

The world wide web makes it possible to do background searches on just about anyone just by clicking a mouse button a few times.  I wanted to take a look at two of the detective tools I use a bunch.

The first one I often use is a cell phone reverse look up.  This type of search lets you punch in a phone number and then find out details on who owns the phone.  Just by typing in the number you can discover someone’s full name, complete address and all types of other background information.

You’ll be able to use this trick quite often.  There could be times when I don’t recognize a number that keeps showing up on my call display or I have even received texts that I didn’t recognize who the number belonged to.

The next one I use is an online criminal background check.  You can discover tons of information on anyone just by punching in their name at a background search site.  I like that these searches are instant and display to you the individual’s full criminal record (if any), marriage details, employment records and a whole bunch of other info.

These little tricks make me feel like an investigator right from home.  It’s incredibly inexpensive to use either of them and they are useful in all sorts of situations.  Have fun!
